restoRestaurants contre la Faim / Restaurants Against Hunger is an international campaign which has been endorsed by hundreds of restaurants, celebrity chefs and food and beverage leaders in North America and Europe. Our international campaign has been a growing success since 1997, with the participation of such world class restaurants as Alinea, Le Bernardin, The River Café & Konstam at the Prince Albert. Now you have the opportunity to join top restaurants & chefs alike in the fight against hunger!

 

Why World Hunger?
Global hunger—both chronic and acute malnutrition—affects more than 960 million people. Acute malnutrition, however, is the more immediate killer: it affects 55 million children each year, 19 million of whom face outright starvation, while upwards of 5 million die without treatment.

 

Why Action contre la Faim?
Because we know how to save starving children: $60 provides 45 days of life-saving treatment (using therapeutic Ready to Use Foods) for a sick child. Action contre la Faim works to save the lives of malnourished children while providing families with sustainable access to safe water and long-term solutions to hunger.

 

 

 

Première moisson

ACF is proud to be associated with the Galette du Monde, a product from Première Moisson, developed in collaboration with the nutrition department of the Université de Montreal. It consists of a delicious and nutritious cookie, which supports the fight against hunger while promoting good health. For each galette sold, Première Moisson will donate $0,25 to our organization.  Come to Première Moisson and savour this tasty treat, high in humanitarian content!

Action Against Hunger is a proud partner of Nourishtea, a premium loose tea company dedicated to bringing the finest loose tea leaves from around the world to your cup.
